About Milton

Milton grew up and went to school on the south side of Brisbane and now proudly lives locally in the Federal electorate of Oxley at Durack.

After finishing studies at the University of Queensland, Milton went on to work as an advisor in the Federal Government before working at both the state and local government level.

For the past 8 years, Milton Dick served as the Brisbane City Councillor for the Richlands Ward and in 2012 was elected Leader of the Opposition.

He has a reputation as someone who delivers for his community and stands up for local residents.

Locally, he’s the proud patron of many local sporting, community and service clubs.

He prides himself on always being there to help people, no matter how big or small the issue may be.

One of his top priorities for Oxley is further improving the education and training opportunities for our kids.

Milton is also focused on securing the right infrastructure needed to help our community grow.

He believes everyone deserves access to quality and affordable education and healthcare, regardless of where they live. Fighting to save Medicare is one of his top priorities.
